Founded in 1964 Chubasco Kennels is dedicated to breeding the finest dual purpose smooth Salukis in the world. Starting with stock from the famous Jen-Araby kennel, and then adding an occasional outcross from Sedeki and Canem-Dei lines is the breeding scheme at Chubasco. All of the dogs are shown in conformation competition as well as campaigned in National Open Field Coursing. Only proven breeding stock is used to further the program. All breeding stock is closely monitored for health problems, with a consistant program of testing, including cardiac ultrasound, and thyroid screening.
